When you are getting your home ready to sell, you may want to do what we call "staging."

Staging is geared to showi your home at it's best so potential Buyer's will be impressed with the home. We want your home to have the appeal ,to the Buyer, that you would like to see when you are looking for a replacement home, if that's your goal. Staging may be painting the inside and outside. Putting away many personal items so the rooms will look larger. Keep the kitchen clean and tidy and so forth. Remember, a Buyer is not look at home to see what you like in personal items, but the over all quality that appeals to them. A well staged home will appeal to many more Buyer's which could generate multiple offers and a higher that listing price.

There is an axiom that says it is better to be IN THE MARKET and not just on the market. In the market means it's priced right, shows well and sells quicker. On the market means "we've listed our house, but it may be over priced or poor condition and less of a chance of getting multiple offers. Remember, people working with a Realtor who will run the same comparable's we did, and will have their clients educated  as to what the properties value should!
